Stephanie, tell me about your flexi?
You have two.
>> I do.
So my first flexi is focused on instruction, so
in the front I just have a copy of the schedule for the, for
the day and then each tab is a different instructional block.
>> Wow. >> So,
I have like this first one is like my shared reading and
word study lessons for the week.
The second tab is the math lessons.
The third tab is the reader's workshop lessons, then social studies and
science, and then the literacy intervention at the end of the day.
So this is like, the kids call it my teacher script.
>> And when do you put that together for the week?
>> I put it together on Friday, for next week.
>> Okay, with all your lesson plans for the next week?
>> Exactly.
>> That is amazing.
And so while you're teaching, where is it?
>> On my lap usually.
>> Got it.
>> Or like if we're at recess before or snack before I'm like reading through it,
like getting my mind ready for the next block.
>> I love that it's all in one place like that.
>> Yeah it has to be in one place.
>> Show me your other one, I've never seen double flexi.
>> So my other one is like more traditional,
together teacher flexi which is like what I use on my planning period.
This is like my life organization.
This is just teaching scripts.
>> Great. >> So it's more traditional,
like it has the comprehensive calendar.
>> Yeah, take me tab by tab.
>> Sure. >> So what do I see on top here?
>> So this is my weekly worksheet.
>> Yap.
>> And it's a little bit adapted, but
it's very similar to a template that I got off of your website.
>> Yap.
>> And then I have the calendar, so this is like the KIF DC calendar.
>> Got it. >> Then I'm the type of
person who prints out my google calendars.
>> Why do you do that?
>> So, I, I have a lot of like personal stuff that I, put on google calendars and
so I'd like to have that stuff like overlapped with my work stuff.
>> Yes. >> But then when things come up then I
just have a calendar that I can jot in like in the moment.
>> So smart.
>> Yeah. >> I love it, what's behind the next hub?
>> So then, I have again like my printed Google tasks.
>> You're running to do list.
There's your long term.
>> Yeah. >> And your Google Gal.
>> Yeah, I've recently changed it to be more like,
putting tasks in that are like don't need to happen for a long time.
>> Yap. >> Just so they're like
on my radar when they come up,
because I used to be the type of person who wants to like finish a to do list.
>> Yes. >> But that's not really working for
me anymore, so I have more like long term.
>> Well and a to do list is never ending.
>> Right.
[LAUGH] I know which is kind of sad.
>> And what's in the back there?
>> In the back is the rosters.
>> Yap. >> Of the second grade and then this,
this is like this guided reading long term instructional plan that I made.
>> Yap.
>> So then like when I'm planning guided reading I can use it to refer to.
>> I love it.
>> Thank you [CROSSTALK].
>> I appreciate it.
