One thing that I've, I've also added in at the bottom of my weekly worksheet is
like specific skills to work on.
And so, one thing I'm, I'm working on myself is like checks for understanding.
And so, the, this is to help remind me of,
of the things that I want to focus specifically on.
Or, like, asking questions that naturally build up saxonomy,
sweating the details, especially at the beginning of the year.
And these are sometimes often written up here as priorities for
professional development.
And this keep, keeps a handle on things that I really want to focus on.
Another, another thing that I have in my Flexie too is like, for
me especially last year as my first year as a teacher.
It's certainly very stressful at times.
And so I actually have a list of here for, like, five-minute brain breaks.
Whether it's, like,
walking round the school, meditating, like, watching a clip of the Daily Show,
things that will allow me to, like, relax for five minutes and recuperate.
So that I'm, so that I can actually get back to work, rather than trying to,
like, power through when I'm feeling especially tired or,
like, frustrated after interaction with a student.
Other things I find really useful are, having a master schedule for,
actually, the whole school.
Just so, if I'm trying to schedule meetings I can know when people are,
are booked and other times where you know, I may be able to meet with them.
