[MUSIC] Now that you have gained solid knowledge of the foundations of CyberGIS and Geospatial Data Science, I'm pleased to introduce to you our graduate certificate program in CyberGIS and Geospatial Data Science. Our program's designed to provide you with access to the most cutting edge cyber GIS and Geospatial Data Science capabilities. In fact, through this online new course, you've learned how to access CyberGIS Supercomputer ROGER and CyberGISX platform. In the certificate program, we will enhance your access to such capabilities by helping you develop your practical skill sets that will be valuable and important to your career advancement. Our program is designed to help you solve real world problems, especially those related to geospatial big data. We have interesting and rich hands on exercises designed for you to learn how to resolve geospatial big data challenges, for you to develop innovative geospatial applications. Our program helps bridge between conventional GIS knowledge and cutting edge CyberGIS and Geospatial Data Science knowledge by having a set of coherently designed courses involving contemporary topics including, for example, high performance geospatial computing, geospatial visual analytics, and visualization and geospatial, artificial intelligence, and deep learning. These topics represent highly demanded skill set in today's workforce. And we have a group of leaders in the field teaching these courses and topics so that you will learn from these leaders to become the leaders of the future. Now let's take a moment to introduce our team of instructors who will be teaching these courses. >> My name is Michael Men, and I teach geography 403, geographic information science and systems. This course will give you a brief introduction to the technology and applications of geographic information systems as well as geographic information science, which is the general concepts and principles that make geographic information systems possible. Geog four or three blends the conceptual and practical with hands on exercises using industry standard software, that puts the abstract concepts into action. Hopefully, you will find this to be a useful foundation course as you continue your study of geographic information science, and use GIS technology to address broader challenges in our society. >> Hi, welcome to GEOG 527, Geospatial AI and Machine Learning. My name is Tony Wang and I am the instructor for this class. The field of artificial intelligence and machine learning have made significant progress in recent years, for example, have been invited applied to fields such as natural language processing, machine translation, and object detection. There is also a great opportunity that we can apply AI and machine learning techniques, are rhythm massive for geospatial analysis, for example, we can extract meaningful patterns, identified clusters, and detect outliers. I hope you will sign up for this class and see you soon. >> Hello, everyone. My name is Su Han, your instructor of geography 517, geospatial and visualizations and visual analytics. Have you ever wanted to create the dynamic maps, like this or the maps with a chart that are linked to another like this. If it is something that you wanted to do, then I think this course will be right for you. So throughout this course, we will explore the world of the two special data visualizations. So these are the good examples of the dynamic math that we are going to learn how to create together, I will be looking forward to working with you. Thank you. >> My name is Anand Padmanabhan. I'm teaching this course on Foundations of CyberGIS and Geospatial Data Science. CyberGIS might be thought of as geographic information science and systems based on advanced computing and cyber infrastructure. In this class we'll start with the basics, we'll teach you how to do programming, and what are the key programming concepts using Python. We'll however, quickly progress to taking geospatial data and looking at how do we manipulate geospatial data? How do we visualize geospatial data? And how do we analyzed geospatial data? In this class, you will not only get access to the basic knowledge and theoretical concepts behind CyberGIS and geospatial datasets, but also practical hands on experience. I look forward to seeing you in class. >> Indeed, our courses in the grass certificate program represent the frontiers of CyberGIS and Geospatial Data Science. These courses and associated learning materials are built on important and transcending capabilities innovated at the University of Illinois. Furthermore, we have developed professional networking opportunities and resources designed to help our students get connected with each other and with leaders of the field, so that you could receive advice to become the leaders of the future. We very much look forward to meeting you and working with you in the program. Thank you. [MUSIC]
