The course is perfectly designed for patenting in the biotechnology field with detailed patent searching tools and databases. I highly recommend this course.

El curso es muy bueno pero utilizan bases de datos como Derwent y Scifinder que son privadas y los alumnos no tienen acceso. Podrían usar bases de patentes de acceso libre

Useful for learning about boolean searches and use of SCifinder.

The course was informative, but all the lectures were focused towards patent searching rather than patentability on various products in biotechnology. The assignment required access to paid data bases. Quizzes were of good quality. More lectures on various biotech patents should be part of this course.

This course is too technical for someone wanting to have an understanding of how patenting works without needing to learn how to search databases. Plus, the course requires you to buy a textbook not included in the course material (so much for being free).

Textbook needed. Unavailable "everywhere". A similar titled book is available at the Danish bookstore. but sending it outside Denmark is more expensive than the book itself. The course includes vague assignments. Maybe they would be clearer where the textbook available or not needed at least for the first week. I'm not able to unenroll. Apparently you need an app for that.
