Starting on the 17th of October 2018 We will release a podcast, with associated discussion, every two hours. In some cases the instructors will be available to react to your discussions directly (marked LIVE), in other cases it will be just your peers and our mentors. We will close the event with a live debate on Saturdaymorning the 20th in the Hague, which you can attend online, or in person. You can find more details in the syllabus on how to sign up for the live event.,
How can I join in the conversation?
Podcasts are provided on every topic, as well as an extensive library with freely available documentation. The focus of the event is on the discussion forums. You can go into the discussion forums directly, whether for just one particular conversation, or several, but we urge you to listen & read the material available to help shape your position & arguments.
What is 'the one thing you take away'?
What do you take away from a particular conversation? It can be everything from a simple observation to a call to action. You decide.
What are the rules of the conversation?
We stick with the community guidelines detailed in the first module of this event. This means we expect you to Participate, Collaborate, Be Respectful, Be Academic and above all Be safe. Further guidance in the day to day conversation will be given by the mentors, trained by Leiden University, who will help e-moderate the discussion. If you have further interest in our position on community management you can reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Will I get a certificate?
No. There are no quizzes, no grading policy, and we will not be offering a certificate of participation. The only goal of participation is enlightening yourself. We think that is priceless in itself.
