Jesse DeMaria-Kinney, formerly Oxfam GB’s coordinator for ASSAR, now works on climate change adaptation, knowledge-into-use and multi-stakeholder processes as an independent consultant based in Geneva, Switzerland. Jesse coordinated and managed Oxfam's role as Research for Impact (research-into-use) lead partner in the ASSAR consortium. Prior to joining Oxfam, Jesse worked with international and local NGOs and the United Nations (UNESCO and UNV) in Asia, Africa and Latin America. His work has focused on the thematic areas of climate change adaptation, resilience building, environmental sustainability and education. Jesse holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies - Biology, and Master's degrees in both Environmental Health and Decentralised International Cooperation.
